It’s easy to get caught up in striving.

And never move past it.

imageimageimageimageWe set goals. We set our intentions. We create those pictures in our minds of the Goal Body that we want to reach. And we work so hard to get there and sometimes it seems like it’s just never going to happen.

But it’s so important to train yourself to be able to see it when you are making progress. Especially dramatic progress. And it’s easy to discount and not see in yourself even though you can see it in everyone else all around you.

But there is no more powerful motivator seeing, acknowledging, and feeling your progress especially progress in the size and growth of your muscles. Gaining size drives you forward like nothing else. ?I am sure that seeing it in the mirror when it actually registers causes major chemical reactions in your mind and body.

Yet often, we keep it from ourselves with criticism of not good enough and focus on the flaws or parts we don’t like that haven’t come along yet.

Sometimes it’s ok to let the Progress sink in though it can actually be scary. Especially if you come from a place of not having a great body in the past. Or if you previously achieved great body goals and you are afraid of losing them once you get it again.

Fear can come in and try to steal our joy even when it’s only a form of self-protection. We can be scared to lose what we’ve hoped and worked so hard for.

One more time, we have to learn how to appreciate the moment and every step along the way.

Let this moment be good. Let your body be good enough even where it is today knowing that it is still going to get better and better.

But appreciate the CHANGE YOU’VE CREATED ALREADY and let it be good.
